Organometallic reactivity, Experimental Chemistry, Theoretical Chemistry

Current research:

  • Reactivity of low-valent Zn(I)- and Mg(I)-organometallic compounds on alkynes and carbonyl derivatives.

Scientific background:

  • Since october 2021: PhD thesis at Sorbonne Université under the supervision of Prof. Fabrice Chemla (IPCM, UMR 8232) and Dr. Stéphanie Halbert (LCT, UMR 7616).
  • 2019-2021: Master in Chemistry at Sorbonne Université.
    • Feb.-June 2021: Research internship at Institut Parisien de Chimie Moléculaire (IPCM – UMR 8232) in Sorbonne Université under the supervision of Prof. Giovanni Poli and Dr. Julie Oble.
      Topic: Study and development of a dehydrogenative [3+2]-annelation reaction by Palladium-catalyzed allylic C-H activation.
  • 2020: International exchange (TASSEP Program). Second semester done at Université de Montréal (Montreal, Canada).
    • Jan.-Aug. 2020: Research internship at the department of Chemistry in Université de Montréal (Montreal, Canada) under the supervision of Prof. Shawn Collins.
      Topic: Study and optimization of photochemical conditions for the racemization of a primary amine with Copper, Ruthenium and Iridium catalysts.
  • 2016-2019: Bachelor of Chemistry at Sorbonne Université.
    • 2018: Research internship at Laboratoire de Chimie Théorique (LCT, UMR 7616) in Sorbonne Université under the supervision of Prof. Hélène Gérard and Dr. Frédéric Guégan.
      Topic: Study of a silylzincation reaction of alkynes with DFT tools.
