Medicinal organometallic chemistry, Organometallic and organic synthesis.

Current research :

  • Synthesis of organométallic compounds (ferrocene).
  • Synthesis of molecules having anticancer activity, antibacterial effect or having activity against plant diseases.
  • Synthesis of molecules bearing organométallic and heterocyclic moieties: chemical reactivity and anticancer activity.

Recent results:

  • Study of a series of ferrocene compounds which exhibit anticancer and antibacterial activities (Journal of Organometallic Chemistry (2011), 696(5), 1038-1048).
