Research interests :

Medicinal organometallic chemistry, Organometallic and organic synthesis.

Current research :

  • Synthesis of organométallic compounds (ferrocene).
  • Synthesis of molecules having anticancer activity, antibacterial effect or having activity against plant diseases.
  • Synthesis of molecules bearing organométallic and heterocyclic moieties: chemical reactivity and anticancer activity.

Recent results:

Special event:

Article in the IPCM newsletter:
Pascal Pigeon (Chembio Team) inaugurates the « Recherche Data Gouv Sorbonne Université space »
A first dataset was deposited on the institutional space by Pascal Pigeon (IPCM). It is described with complete documentation (rich metadata and a very detailed Readme file). This dataset is linked to an article under review and a source code deposited on HAL and archived on Software Heritage.

Scientific career:

  • Studies in chemistry at University of Rouen
  • Ph. D. thesis (chemistry) under the supervision of Pr. Bernard Decroix (University of Le Havre 1996)
  • Assistant-engineer at ENSCP (Paris 1999-2001)
  • Research ingeener at ENSCP (Paris 2001-today). Linked to IPCM (Paris 2014-today)
