Research interests:

Immunochemistry, dendrimers chemistry, bioanalysis using metal-carbonyl complexes.

Current research:

  • Antibody labelling for the development of new immunological detection reagents.
  • Development of bioorthogonal crosslinkers for bioconjugation.
  • Functionalization of polyamido(amine) dendrimers.
  • Quantitative analysis by infrared using metal-carbonyl complexes.

Recent results :

  • Synthesis of metal carbonyl dendrimer-antibody conjugates for the development of a new immunological format that uses metal carbonyl complexes as tracers and FT-IR spectroscopy as detection method.
  • Synthesis of a new bioorthogonal and heterobifunctional crosslinker for the labelling of biomolecules :

Scientific career

  • 1988 : Chemistry studies at University Paris-Sud (Orsay).
  • 1988-1991 : Ph. D. thesis in organic chemistry (University Paris-Sud) under the supervision of Dr. Claude Wakselman (CNRS-CERCOA, Thiais) : Synthesis of fluorinated analogs of key metabolites of the shikimate pathway.
  • 1992-1994 : Post-doctoral research associate at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Châtenay-Malabry (University Paris-Sud) under the supervision of Dr. Jean-Pierre Bégué : Synthesis of potential inhibitors of the HIV-1 protease.
  • 1995-1999 : Post-doctoral research associate at Chimie ParisTech (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Paris) under the supervision of Prof. François Le Goffic : Development of immunosorbents for the analysis of traces of pesticides in the environment.
  • Since 1999 : Engineer position at the CNRS (Chimie ParisTech (1999-2013) and University Pierre & Marie Curie, Paris VI (since 2014)) in the team of Dr. Anne Vessières.
